a mercury-bromine compound used as a germicide for disinfection of the skin and wounds. it has been outlawed in the u.s.a. by the fda for years, although non-mercury types are still available.
neosporin and other antibitoic ointments are used today much like mercurachrome was many years ago.
a fungal type growth, typically found in the rainforests of brazil in south america. great cure for jock itch, athlete’s foot, and many other bodily fungi.
