mickey mouse job
a job done incorrectly in an extremely poor manner using the simplest, easiest, cheapest and fastest way possible.
“hey did you ever get your car fixed?”
“yeah, but they didn’t even straighten the b-mper and they just painted over the rust! it’s a total mickey mouse job!”
a job you work at that is not even worth the pay you are working for.
i was helping out a dry cleners with there dry clean delivery monday thru friday 3-5pm for 25 dollars a day dropping off and picking up at two different locations about a 40 mile round trip and occasionally having to make 1 or 2 more extra stops to pick up supplies, used there van and gas. so 3-5 became 2-6 most days and the pay remain the same. this began 2 mess with everyday life not being able to plan anything during the day because i would have to finish up before 2pm and not being able to make any plans in the evening because i never knew when i was going finish.if i needed to do something and was unable to do the delivery i was treated like i was the full time employee and was going to lose my job. the owner said.”do you think this is some kind of ‘ “mickey mouse job”? i could not stop laughing
