a condition of a weapon skin in cs:go that comes right before factory new. typically bought by thrifty players who have realised that in most cases, the difference between factory new and minimal wear can only be observed under a microscope and by the size of the dent in your already fund deprived wallet
i was going to buy the factory new tec-9|br-ss, but i saved enough money to buy a car by going with the visually identical minimal wear variant. after some time however, i did realise there is a small scratch inside the chamber, so that must be why it’s minimal wear.
