a way to categorize someone who is of two or more races when it requires too much effort to list all of them. it is not meant to be negative.
at show n’ tell, carlos was asked by his 3rd grade teacher at his new school in iowa where his heritage was. instead of listing peoples from 4 continents he cheerfully said. “i’m mixedallaneous!”
