Monday Stamina
an unusually high amount of energy/enthusiasm one sometimes feels on a monday when working at a usually tiring or otherwise boring job. monday stamina is not something felt by the average employee on every monday (other emotions sometimes felt on mondays include “unhappy” “bored” and “suicidal”), however it does occur roughly 5-15 times per year for the average employee.
a: hey, _______ what are you still doing here? your shift ended at 4:30.
b: wow, it’s already 5? it feels like 11:15 on a friday! talk about monday stamina…
