monoart
a popular photographic concept on instagram, involving all shots and images in a purely monochromatic theme, using a black-and-white tone (hence the “mono”, from “monochrome”) to add contrast, perspective, and/r create an entirely new abstract concept to the capture. however, it isn’t simply a “black-and-white” shot. it is intended to be used for greater artistic effect. invented by a guy named josh, from singapore.
#monoart is taking over instagram by storm. you can put “monoart” on anything to make any ordinary object seem more ideational.
