matt: hey jack, hows that philosophy paper going?
jack: i don’t even know man, i’ve been mowing the air hard all day today.
made popular by the canadian sitcom, trailer park boys. when someone is mowing the air, they are disregarding the task at hand in order to have fun or do nothing instead.
matt: hey jack have you finished that chem homework that is due in two days?
jack: no dude, i’ve been mowing the air so hard today, it’s ridiculous.
