n3p that refers to the villages of urbana (maryland) as north, north, north potomac (n3p). the term originated when a residents of gaithersburg, md referred to themselves as north potomac in a futile means to link themselves with the more affluent potomac, md community. since urbana, md is much further north than potomac, the term n3p generally refers to a sense of ent-tlement expressed by some vou residents (i.e. parking in fire lanes, jacking up the middle school drop off pattern, etc).
