a word used to describe a boring person. a person who would normally be down to have a good time, but for no good reason, decides to be lame on occasion, or often. used mostly on occasions that involve social gatherings with a group of friends; getting stupid drunk, going to the football game, playing wingman.
jake: are you going to that 21-run tonight?
mike: i don’t know, i’m kinda tired.
jake: dude, it’s 4 in the afternoon…
mike: yeah, i think i’m just gonna stay home and watch a movie.
jake: (to a group of friends) well mike isn’t coming out tonight, he’s gonna watch a movie.
crowd: wow, what a nannywhomper.
