the large vein running down the side of your leg, along side the calf. most commonly seen in runners, the nate vein can be seen and interpreted as s-xy or manly by females, especially other female runners. usually meaning the person is of great importance or speed to a cross country/distance running team. named after high school state silver medalist in the mile run, nate mclafferty.
