neo visualism
a style worn by the j-panese singer miyavi and his support band the kavki boiz. it combines a punk rock style of clothing and makeup, but with heavy j-panese traditional influences.
also the name of a single of miyavi’s, which introduced the style.
a shredded tanktop, a pair of baggy jeans, and a multicolored mohawk, with a loose kimono thrown over it and kabuki face paint. that is an example of neo visualism clothing.
the music style, as stated in the song, ‘kabuki danshi’ is a mix of ‘rock, punk, hip hop, and funk!’
