1. the act of a very intelligent but single-minded person obsessed with a nonsocial hobby or pursuit deriving gratification or pleasure from random acts of nerdism
2. the pleasure or enjoyment of speaking in an esoteric manner.
3. the act of using computer jargon or messenger abbreviations in everyday audible dialogue
4. a general term for any nerd who truly loves and enjoys his/her stature.
