not to be confused with “nerdigence”, nerdogance is the certain brand of arrogance that applies to nerds who have a misplaced arrogance due to their -ssumed knowledge in an esoteric nerdy subject. nerdogance manifests itself when the nerd in question feels insecure in social situations and uses their knowledge in sci fi, computers, etc. to act superior over others, in turn making more people dislike them, while proving the social stereotype of nerds as socially inept losers.
