newtonize
an intense medical disorder that occurs when a teenager, usually of the female gender, moves from brookline to newton.
some syptoms include:
saying “like” far too much,
the purchasing of so lows and other branded clothing,
excessive straightening or curling of hair,
a newly found obsession with male celebrities,
an unceasing desire to be skinny,
the following of trends,
the joining of cliques, ect.
resisting newtonization is extremely hard. the only way to do so is by keeping strong ties with friends from brookline.
it was so sad when moved to newton. now all she wants to do is stare at boys, shop at hollister, and curl her hair. she’s completely newtonized!
