night jar
a jar kept under one’s bed and used as a toilet during the night; also know as a chamber pot. usually used in reference to farting, or other bad smells.
as the smell of bob’s fart slowly spread throughout the first cl-ss cabin, the p-ssenger in the seat next to him said disgustedly, “who opened the night jar?”
