nimda
a hostile computer worm made in 2001 that uses common trojan-horse techniques like masquerading as an email from a friend or an intended download to spread to as many computers as possible. the name originates from the reversed spelling of admin.
malwarebytes just found a strain of the nimda worm on my computer, i’m glad nothing got deleted.
