meaning night, sometimes uses as a name to describe a chivalrous but effeminate male who seems to have the beauty of the night in their personality.

when used by english speakers to refer to night it usually is cold and clear when the rest of the world has seemed to stop.
as noct sat down besides me i felt different somehow re-ssured, maybe i am not crazy or maybe he just makes me a different crazy.

in the middle of the noct i never felt more alive as i looked over this tired city.
