norgie
a user interface design term for a list control or interface toggle in the shape of a triangle. possibly first used in this context around 1998 at frog design in austin texas.
“can you put a norgie on that list to show whether it’s opened or closed?”
british slang for norwegian, often used in squaddie talk. often denotes a thermal shirt that is worn by the british army, and originated in norway.
“it’s going to be cold, put your norgie on.”
