a nothingthing is a concept that is yet to be brought to reality. the existence of the nothingthing stems from a belief that every idea is already out there somewhere before it is “discovered” or created by someone. everything that has ever been made was a nothingthing before it was a reality.
yeah man, when i wrote this song, it just felt perfect, like i didn’t make it, but i just captured a nothingthing
anything that does not yet exist. it is a baby before it is conceived, an idea before it is thought, or a piece of art before that will exist once the artist puts on the finishing touches.
i kept adjusting my piece until it felt just right. it was at that moment that it was no longer a nothingthing.
