a noti’f-ck’ation is a play on words from the term ‘notification’.
the term in general relates to unwanted spam notifications received on social networking sites such as facebook. generally from applications.
“oh cool, i’ve got a notification”
it reads:
join your friends now! make sure you add your buddies on mob warfare!
“oh no! a notif-ckation!
the annoying nag boxes displayed in the lower right-hand corner of your screen by an instant messaging program every time a completely insignificant event happens.
trillian just popped up a notif-ckation about the latest version of some bullsh-t plugin i didn’t know i even had and don’t give a rat’s -ss about.
