new progressive rock (or art rock), a genre of artists and bands from the 1990s to present.
tool, radiohead, coheed and cambria, king’s x, dream theater and opeth are examples of nu-prog bands, in contrast to rush, yes, king crimson, supertramp and pink floyd, which are cl-ssic prog-rock.
