Nurse drop
nurses feel the need to let people know they are nurses. similar to name-dropping, a nurse-drop is when a nurse tells you that they are a nurse very randomly in a conversation without the subject matter even being relevant to the topic.
nurse drop:
person a: hey have you eaten at that new restaurant? it’s really good…
nurse: yeah i’ve been, it’s pretty good. i’m a nurse so i have a distinguishing palate.
