NVL
in a visual novel or role playing game, nvl is where the text box basically encomp-sses the whole screen and the sentences come out in page format. in contrast to adv where there’s a text box below the sprites and the sentences come out line by line.
in fighting games i prefer nvl because the text comes out by the characters mouths. in visual novels i like adv because the text is all together like in a book and it is at the bottom of the page so it doesn’t cover up the beautiful character drawings.
