refers to a person or situation that is crazy. perhaps on drugs. originated in a small oklahoma pool hall.
“i’m off the air. i’m going skinny dipping and it’s thirty degrees outside”
“his abs are off the air”
an interjection used when someone says something they should not. anything unfunny, embar-ssing, or ignorant that renders the speaker particularly deserving of silence.
