ogaden


ogaden is part of ethiopia since the colonial powers come to africa but before that it was an independent and free. the region lies northwest to ethiopia, djibouti to the north, kenya to the south and somali republic to east.

the people are somalis and speak somali language and same culture and religion with rest of somalians. most of them are nomads and live the life of 100 years ago, herding camels. they do not get basics of human freedom, women get raped and men get killed while they struggling to get food for their children, military take their livestock illegaly. children don’t go to school never and grew up having nothing for their future.
onlf(ogaden national liberation front) have been fighting more than 2 decades to free their people from the agressive invasion of ethiopia. ethiopian government do not care the people in the region they want to take out their natural resources (nonsense greedy), the region is rich in natural resources especially natural gas and oil but the freedom fighters havn’t let them to exploit.
