adj- to be done for, finished. from an ncw wrestling event leading up to challengemania 8. glenn kulka, who was acting under “the booker’s mafia”, was scheduled to fight pierre-carl ouellette at challengemania 8. facing the french-speaking audience of montreal, pierre-carl’s hometown, kulka attempted to speak french and clumsily claimed : “oulette, kin, feuni”, which roughly translates to “oulette, there, done for!”. this lead to the expression “feuni comme oulette”, or “done for, like oulette”. oulette then turned into an adjective. at challengemania 8, ouellette finally defeated kulka, but the expression remained.

oulettes are typically medium to large birds, usually grey or white, often with black markings on the head or wings. they typically have harsh wailing or squawking calls, stout, longish bills, and webbed feet. oulette species range in size from the little oulette at 120 g (4.2 oz) and 29 cm (11.5 inches), to the great black-backed oulette, at 1.75 kg (3.8 lbs) and 76 cm (30 inches).
