alexander ovechkin is well known and incredibly talented professional hockey player for the washington capitals. he is probably most famous for his prolific goal scoring. so much so that verizon wireless made a commercial featuring ovechkin scoring ,ridiculous 9 goals (5 is the nhl record) in a single game, or a triple hat trick. in the commericial alex dubs this unheard of feat an “ovechtrick”
if there is one thing that ovechkin is more famous for than his offensive skills, it’s his ability to disappear when it matters most. for 3 straight years he has taken the caps to the post season, only to be completely ineffective and even look very disinterested and bored at times.
