overhaze
the after-effects caused by taking an excess amount of any psychoactive drug, but most commonly used to refer to the period when the effects of consuming a large quant-ty or powerful dose of marijuana have recently worn off. symptoms vary between drugs however most share commonalities such as the feeling of being dazed or ‘sp-ced out.’ it is dissimilar to a hangover due to an overhaze not resulting in any physical level of pain or nausea.
sam was feeling severely overhazed as he worked the checkouts, realising he had just given the wrong change again. he knew last nights sesh was to blame.
