Pancrepe


not quite what you wanted but not quite something else either.

originated from a poorly crafted pancake where all ingredients were halved except for the flour which was accidentally quartered. what resulted was something too thick to be deemed a crepe but way too thin to truly be a pancake.

the word is used to describe life events that never truly reached a partic-p-nt’s expectations level but wasn’t exactly a failure.

i.e. the gamble discount scratch off of 20% off at kohl’s as opposed to 30% off but not 15% either.
i got a c- grade in the cl-ss; what a pancrepe.

the discount was a pancrepe 20% off.
