noun. the state of believing that the only way to support the troops is to put them in harm’s way. also the state of believing in one’s leader(s) above the well-being of one’s nation.
never having served in the military, it was patriotastic of the senator to advocate war.
or
to h-ll with what the world thinks! patriotasm requires us to spread democracy where it is not wanted.
