Performance aftershock


the phenomenon that occurs after a play or stage performance where the actor/actress will say lines from said play for the next week or so in normal conversation inadvertently or by accident.
“how did the date go?”
“– i don’t know she did get alot of laughs.–”
“what?”
“sorry i have performance aftershock, i made her laugh, she liked that.”
