Pidna
pidna is a word that comes from ancient australian aboriginal languages. it’s what the aboriginals call a very ugly or deformed baby. in old times, a pidna baby would often be left by the tribe of aboriginals to die in the hot sun shortly after its birth. this sounds cruel, but theories have been made that it was done to keep the genetic lines clear of bad blood. in recent times, it has become an endearing word that some modern mothers have actually named their babies with.
