pill mill
slang for a a word used to describe a pain clinic that is over prescribing medication is called a pill mill.
even though over prescribing is an opinion by a medical professional and each case has unique and special circ-mstances. when someone disagrees with the amount of drugs administered they use a slang word called pill mill to sway people to their opinion. this implies that the pain clinic is milling the drugs when in fact the big drug companies would be a better fit for the word pill mill.
