when it rains out side, but it is still bright and sunny. the phenomenon is common in places like florida and california. this term was coined by a dialect survey, pretty sure it is a made up phrase. other words this may go by, “sunshower”, “the wolf is giving birth”, “the devil is beating his wife”, “monkey’s wedding”, “fox’s wedding”, or “liquid sun”.
