also spelled (and always pr-nounced) pincho. originally the basque word for tapas.
when used redundantly with tapas, by english speakers, refers to the action one would like to take with a nice set of tapas
for the phonetically challenged:
sounds like: “pinch those tapas!”

chris: “man i wana pintxos tapas!”
