Piranhamoose
a hybrid animal with the head of a piranha and the antlers and body of a moose. kills its prey by goring the creature (or unwitting human) with its horns and then devouring it.
first seen in the webcomic wondermark, comic no. 495.
stranger 1: i say, what is that peculiarly formed creature on ye hill over there?
stranger 2: not a clue, old chap, but i dare say i shall go and have a closer look at it-augh!
stranger 1: such cries could only be caused by one creature! the rare and ravenous piranhamoose! run for it!
