pit snipe


a navy term used to describe someone who works either in the fireroom (boiler room) or the engineroom. (see also “hole snipe”.)
i’m a pit snipe and d-mn proud of it. most others couldn’t stand the heat and the long hours down here.

    to panic when plans aren’t made or when plans change. what? i thought we were leaving at 7 am, not 5 am!! don’t planic, you can deal with it.

  • plate snot

    a form of snot that is flat and wide, like a techtonic plate “wow, that’s an impressive collection of plate snot you have there”
