a fairly disfunctional family like unit. may include “normal” people, or so they think. often has large blow-ups at eachother and one or two may not talk to another for over a decade. there are plots to sabotage eachother frequently.
“polhamus” gathering
family friend: “hey, have you talked to liza?”
family member: “who?”
family friend: “um, your sister…”
family member: “oh, you mean the back-stabbing traitor who favors trips to hawaii over me?!”
family friend: “okay, how about drake?”
family member: “oh, he’s in the back getting our -ssination gear together. liza said she didn’t like his shirt. b-tch needs to pay.”
