pop not soda
a slogan. most midwestern kids from the united states say pop, while most other people say soda, referring to carbonated drinks like c-ke, pepsi, and etc.
and they think the term pop is more correct than soda.
hence.. “pop not soda!”
person one: “p-ss me a soda.”
midwestern kid: “why do you want baking soda?”
person one: “uh, a c-ke?”
midwestern kid: “you mean a pop.”
person one: “no, i don’t want you to hit me, i want a freaking soda.”
midwestern kid: “it’s pop not soda!!!”
