Popunk
a combination of “pop” and “punk”, popunk defines bands that try to be punk, but they’re too cute. and yet, they’re a little too hard to be pop. they’re neither pop nor punk, but have elements of both. these bands are sometimes cl-ssified as alternative, but they’re not.
good charlotte, fall out boy, and my chemical romance are great examples of popunk bands.
