Possum Look
an important ritual for establishing whether or not a potential mating partner is a worthy recipient of attention. it involves a slender, slow approach, followed by a momentary halt in movement to gaze upon the prey, and finally either retreating with haste in the opposite direction or approaching ferociously. these movements are similar to possums who aimlessly dangle on power lines, and are ready to accept death by doing so.
bob: hey bill, any birds out last night weeping for the wet whipper?
