to act like you are friendly with people in a social setting just to be nice. deep down inside you just want to get out of the room and really can’t stand the people. happens usually during the holidays at the in-laws where you really don’t enjoy their family, but have to act like you are having a great time and have to be friendly with the people.
during the holidays we went to my in laws and i prefrend like i was enjoying the conversation and having a great time with my wives family.
