in the movie office sp-ce, there is a scene where cubicle workers steal the printer from their office and take it out into a field. there, they beat the printer to smithereens using baseball bats and their fists. the “printer scene” is used among office workers as a fantasy of what they want to be real. it is a term that people who feel locked-up by their jobs use.
