Pseudo-bump
seeing someone you know quite well in a public place but you cannot lock eyes or lips with, chat it up, hug, etc. due to restricted access placed upon them by another party who is not allowed to know of the relationship that exists.
saw my hot 30-something guy friend in a business suit as he exited place where i was dining. i yelled “hey!” and he secretly waved so his friend would not see him waving back at me. we didn’t get to catch up, it was just a pseudo-b-mp.
