Pulling a Hamlet


occurs when an employee leaves work prior to the company’s cultural expectation of 7:00pm. this is true even if they came in before 7:00am or worked virtually the rest of the evening.
employee 1:”hey where is joe? is he in a meeting?”

employee 2: “no, he’s pulling a hamlet.” or “no, he pulled a hamlet.”
