pulling a lance
pulling a lance is when you clearly have a job and money but still refuse to pay your own bills especially when it comes to dining at a restaurant and end up having your parents pay for you.
lance: hey dad, let’s go out to lunch!
dad: ok, i’ll meet you at noon.
(lunch is served and the bill comes.)
lance:…..
dad: i suppose you are pulling a lance today.
lance: you know me too well, dad!
