similar to the looking gl-ss from alice in wonderland, a ravengl-ss shows the world through the perception of a dark romantic; instead of looking at a fantastic world of impossibilities and wonderful creatures, one sees instead the darker, more meloncholy side of humanity. where the looking gl-ss leads to wonderland expressed by lewis carrol, the ravengl-ss leads into a world more predominantly envisioned by edgar allan poe and other writers, not wonderful, but woeful.
