recursive acronym
an acronym whose meaning contains the original acronym. for example, the programming language php stands for “php: hypertext preprocessor”, where one of the words the acronym shortens is the acronym itself.
– dude, i just thought of a great acronym: fiaw! it stands for “fiaw is a word”!
