Redneck Benny
a redneck version of eggs benedict. instead of half of an english m-ffin, topped with canadian bacon, a poached egg and hollandaise sauce there is half a biscuit, topped with a sausage patty, fried egg and gravy. despite it’s southern origins and use of pork, it is fast becoming a favorite in north east jewish communities.
once again david sneaked out of brookline to enjoy some redneck benny in dorchester before his hebrew lessons.
