the sound many brutal death metal vocalists manipulate with their vocal chords to make the characteristic sewage gurgle vox in bands like g-rg-sm and disgorge. for those of you who do not know what this sounds like, image putting your head inside a toilet bowl and flushing it. that sound is replicated with human vocal chords in an ultra-guttural reee.
